Hello, I am Maria Rose's Mom. She was also very, very excited for her first day of school. I was excited for her! We had to take her to a bus stop where she loaded up, along with a lot of her friends. Awe. She looks so sweet. Transition is hard, but she'll do great and adjust. I think it's harder on us, than them. From what I always hear, once the parents leave, the kids are fine. It's the goodbyes that are hard.

It is just so fantastic that she made it. How far she has come through all those ups and downs... she has fought so many battles and at such a young age is such a big winner.

My boy says every day that he does not want to go to school. It breaks my heart. Then as soon as we get there he runs off and has fun. It is a roller coaster. Other parents say their children are all keen until they get there. Which ever way it is starting school is a roller coaster of emotion.
