I so hear what you are saying! I feel endlessly guilty about trying to spend time working while I still have Poppy at home. I don't sew while the kdis are around but I do end up doing other things so that once they go to bed I do have time. I can't wit to re-organise next year and sort through it with more confidence and less guilt - I live in hope. Dropped a screaming Poppy off to child care this morning, I was nearly in tears byt he car park

Mmm, certainly gives me some food for thought. Juggling children, husbands, work, time out, life... can be difficult. It sounds like you are making some positive decisions though. I really understand what you have been going through. Being a mama to three I too struggle sometimes to find a balance between family time and time for creativity alone. I think the decisions you made in regards to time with your kids, and with Andrew, are terrific. I also get how hard it is at the time to make those decisions and realize why you are making them. In the end it always feels right, and for me anyways, a "why didn't I do this sooner" feeling. Perhaps you will find you are more productive now on the days you have committed to sewing, given you have some "refresh" days thrown in as well :)

The dress is seriously cute, and I love the twirlability :)
