Easy cushion covers (no pattern or tutorial, just winged it). 2 cushions looks a bit dumb on our sofa though, I have no idea why I don't ever buy proper quantities of things because I always regret it and it takes me ages to buy more...Top fabric is a canvas Lotta Jansdotter gifted to me from Belinda formerly of Tutti Frutti. The second fabric is from Ikea where I also bought the inserts. 50cm square at $6 each and they are beautiful quality...need to get more.
Beautiful Sorbetto top from the awesome Colette Patterns. Fabric from Denyse Schmidt , a gorgeous retro floral voile. The only reason I was able to make this top was through the kindness of Bec who after reading about my printer frustrations, printed the pattern out for me and posted it to me along with some beautiful vintage fabric!
I made a straight up size US6 (Australian 10)no major modifications except to only make a 0.5cm hem as I wanted to keep as much length as possible. This top took a few nights to make, not because it is hard, in fact it is very easy, beautifully drafted, great instructions, but because I was just sewing in short increments. Anyway, this morning I went to wear it and I do not like it on me. I think it's the fabric, the background is a cream colour and I really don't look good in cream, I only wear white. So, if you want it, it's yours to the first who puts up their hand. I am happy to post OS.

Oh, wow, that top is gorgeous! I have my pattern cut out, but not the fabric, I might do it tonight as I've finished the bathers order. Loving helping through blogland!
I don't know if it would fit me?
But I LOVE it! If you don't get any other takers, I'd love to try it on.
(If someone asks and they know it'll fit - please send it to them! Happy to be the last option!)
Such a cute little top. I'm with you on the colour problem though. I can't wear cream either.
Is it a generous 10 or snug? It is gorgeous? What a shame that cream doesn't work on you!
Awesome! Glad to see you are still sewing in spite of a busy schedule!
Gorgeous top! How sweet of Bec to help you out.
Oh no! All that work and now you can't enjoy it. Will you be making it again in a different fabric? Hope you at least enjoyed the process? xx
Gorgeous top - you've done a great job on that bias binding. How much fabric does that pattern require? I've got a piece of Nani Iro that might be nice but not sure if it's enough...
See you soon, Love Mel
Love the top, especially the little pleat detail. I'd love it but sadly it wouldn't fit - are you sure you don't look good in cream?
