Using the very easy and quick Elsie Marley knot shorts tutorial, these shorts came together very quickly and look just adorable.
I used a beautiful Kaufman aqua linen/cotton blend and some grey linen from the stash, and thankfully Lucia thought they were pretty cool. She has been at tennis camp all week and desperately needed some new play clothes, going back over kids clothing weeks gave loads of ideas and inspiration.
My only issue is that the ties come undone...and Lucia doesn't always care to do them up again thinking it's funny to have them flapping around her legs (it looks pretty awful) so I think I am going to try and sew the ties together to alleviate that.

Yours seem like they turned out better than mine. The bit on the inside of the leg seemed too long when. Tied them up and Charlotte hated them so they got binned.
These are very cute shorts. I remember seeing them sometime ago and thinking I should give then a try. Thanks for jogging my memory.
Oh I love them, especially the colour, that aqua is to die for.
