I think Eva is at her happiest when she is in a swing! That's when I see her biggest, cheesiest smiles.
She had such a ball at the park today and I must say her little tunic top looks so cute!! I bragged to Cass that I was going to do all my kids measurements before I sewed another thing for them but of course I didn't, ended up making the size 2 dress which was too small and then decided to make it a tunic top instead...I am in total agreement with Cindy, that you have to inject a little bit of yourself into your sewing.
I am relieved that I didn't use my 'good' fabric for this, although this fabric is pretty lovely. I do want to make a dress next time and I feel pretty proud of Eva that she fits a size 3!
I am coming up to my 400th post! I want to do a give away but can't think what to give. Any ideas??

So grown up she is looking all of a sudden! I find their patterns to be quite a small cut - see if you were down the road I could of mentioned it!
It still looks really lovely and I have a swing lover too - I think they are the greatest.
As for a giveaway - I think anything would be great (still love my chrissy birds) but I think it should be hand delivered to the winner (and then pick ME!)
Such a gorgeous top!!!
That's a million dollar smile! I love her sweet top too. Re your giveaway, it doesn't need to be much, something made by you would be lovely. Congrats on so many heartfelt posts xo
So cute. I love it as a tunic. Looks fabulous worn over jeans. My daughter is refusing to wear the most recent top/tunic I made for her - wrong length, wrong colour! She suggested that I give it away to someone else (I think I little piece of me died inside!) Maybe I should list it in my blog as a giveaway!
I am loving this as a tunic even more than as a dress. It looks fabulous!
That smile is pretty amazing too.
Looks fantastic Sophie and Eva's smile just says it all! Coming up to 400 posts, what a milestone.
She looks SO darn cute. Love the tunic - it looks really, really sweet.
Looks great Sophie although noww you've got me worried that the size 4 is going to swim on Lucy
Such a sweet top and an AMAZING smile. What is it about swings and kids? Mine are addicted to swinging. Me? I just feel a little queasy.
PS the word verification is PRETTIO which could quite possibly be Italian for pretty tunic. Hee!
I love the top and her SWEET SMILE!
Well done on finishingin a busy week, it looks really sweet.
I have my size 3 cut but not even started yet - I am waaaayy behind!
Absolutely beautiful! (The tunic is sweet, too!) :)
