finished (the quilt)

I sewed on half the binding last night watching True Blood (Andrew and I are ADDICTED not sure why since it is a such BAD, BAD b grade production but we just love it) and the other half this morning whist the kids were watching some crap on TV so leaving me alone.

The fabric is Lila Tueller's Eden. My sister in law loves a pink and green colour combination and I also remember her saying something about not going too over board with girliness this time around so I hope this makes her happy!

I actually love how simple and clean the back looks with just a smidge of colour, I would be tempted to use that side as well.

I wanted to show you the ice cream social dress I have been working on but after letting Eva try it on for size she must have taken it off somewhere and hidden it because I can't find it anywhere...

I'm so pleased to hear that true Blood is good watching. We finished season two of Friday Night Lights last night and I miss it but I have True Blood waiting.

How could she NOT love it? It's perfectly lovely. How do you DO it? Seriously?! One of these days, I'll get up the nerve to try a quilt. Until then, I'll just drooool over yours.

You had me at "true blood"! Love it. What season are up to? Just don't read the books - now they are CRAP! What's not crap is that quilt! It's delightful! And I'm with you, the back is just as lovely as the front ;)

So good that quilt, and happy and bright in the middle of winter, very springish.
p.s. Eva looks great in the tunic - and very very cute!!!
