Let's count all the problems with this simple little pinnie! Pocket placement is so hard! You can see where I have taken them off and put them higher but now I think they are too high and uneven, Eva's hands are going to be super uncomfortable in that position!
The little flower placket-y thing is crooked! Urgh, and I only saw that AFTER I had bound the whole neckline.
I think it's going to be too sack looking for my skinny little girl, sewing at night means a lot of sewing for your kids is guess work - and wow, I am seriously delirious late at night, cause this looked almost ok then, but I am not feeling the love today!

It was made with love and that makes it truly special and gorgeous! We're always our harshest critics, but it's really beautiful.
Despite the frustrations, two thumbs up on the fabric and colour choice! I love little pinnafores. My daughter is refusing to wear dresses and skirts at that moment and she's taking no bribes! Such a bummer!
Well as they say, we learn from our mistakes. And you know, she'll probably be jusmping around in it so much, no one will even notice! Great fabrics, they look great together!!
I think it looks lovely and so will your little one! A huge bravo to you for being so brave and sharing your "oopsies". Hope you have wonderful week :)
It looks so lovely to me. I like the colours you picked!
I agree. Sewing at night can be either fabulous or downright disappointing to wake up to. I love your colour choices and fabric mix. I even like the high pockets.
I wonder what youll be making tonight?
Cute frock... lovely and quirky :) If your children are anything like mine they'll rarely stand up straight or still so no one is ever going to notice the crooked bits. Unless of course they're bringing it in off the line or ironing/folding it to put away... in which case - just be thankful that it isn't you ;)
The frock is all the more ace for it crookedness and awkward pockets. No doubt this look will be in all the high street stores next year.
So it goes...although I wouldn't have noticed any of the flaws had you not pointed them out. We truly are our worst critics!`
