Thank you - and finished!!

I really, really like it! As I mentioned before the fabric is just so soft and drapey the comfort level is right up there. It is a little big in the back but the pattern would be very easy to grade down because I see some more of these in the future - this pattern would be fabulous for an evening get up - satin for the sleeves and placket and maybe a crepe for the body?

And don't you just LOVE patterns with excellent directions and clear diagrams? Makes sewing even more of a joy!

Thank you for the words of encouragement.

Seems like creating is contagious - here is Siena tracing a pattern for a skirt, she said; "I want it to look like yours mum, just not so long!" I can foresee some battles on the hem front can't you?

Oh I LOVE it. Good on you for getting back into the sewing, I'm in a sewing rut myself but you've inspired me to just get started again.

Lovely top. The fabric drapes really well. I'll have to dig out my fabric and take to it with a pair of scissors!

Yay for you! It looks gorgeous. I am so glad one of my old patterns found such a lovely home and was transformed so beautifully.
