I finished these beautiful dresses last night for the annual photo with Santa today. The girls looked stunning and they just loved them which is SUCH a bonus when you spend so long making something not knowing if it will be a hit or not. They were pretty easy patterns, I was just extra particular with the bodice width and straps, I wanted them to be loose and flowy but not slipping off their shoulders. Thankfully they fit perfectly!!* I have changed my comment format as I have received 2 really nasty comments here recently, both of them about Eva and both from the same person. This has never happened to me before and it felt really awful, I felt attacked! I am now approving comments before they are published.

The dresses are just gorgeous!! I took the kids for a phpto with Santa today but teh younger two were both bawling so much that only the older two made it into the photograph! I hope you had more luck.

The dresses are stunning! I know what you mean about wondering if the girls will like them or not, they can be unpredicatable can't they? My little one is finally starting to wear what I make her, although she hasn't much choice as her drawers slowly get filled :)
Sorry to hear about your nasty comments. You can block people you know, or if they are annoymous maybe you should contact blogger because then they could block them.

The dresses are beautiful. I really love the straps on Eva's - I was thinking of trying a similar style dress for Poppy - yet to get around to it though! The colour on Lucia's is gorgeous too. I still have plans to make Poppy's Christmas dress, I still have like 3 days
