You can alwqays tell it's market time here...not just because of all the sewing stuff strewn (cool alteration!!) across the house but also because I seem to acquire a compulsion to start sewing completely unnecessary items like the above dish drainer mat! I mean who needs one of these? I saw it on one of my faves and decided right now would be a good time to have one!
Even after a quick visit from Melanie, a quick run down on who is sewing what and an agreement that we have a lot to get through in the next two weeks, I took a perfect opportunity of Eva having a nap to riffle through my fabric, choose this one and make a stoopid, useless mat...it is pretty though...

I love it. I did notice it washing the dishes last night, I just never got around to asking you if you had made it.
It's called procrastination! Happens ALL the time here...have mountains of things to complete and end up starting something new :)
Procrastination and crafting go together, but at least you produced something useful - ish!

It is pretty indeed. Making pretty items you use and see every day seems very useful to me. So good job :-)
