* Witchery top* Sussan pants
Onto brighter things. Don't you think Watcha Wearing Wednesday is kinda strange? For me its weird because I am not an attention seeker, and I hate my photo being taken. I like to be on the periphery, anonymity is my preference. It sometimes feels silly to be taking photos of myself, but maybe it's good for me to get past the embarrasment and have fun! dearfii hosts this meme, so check out who else is playing.
Unfortunately when I was sewing up my mega beanbag, I skipped past some of the more important instructions, like, make sure you make an inner bag and use (really important) a zipper!!

The girls were (of course) leaping off the couch onto the bean bag which then split open (coz I used velcro as I didn't have a long enough zip) after which a tsunami of polestyrene balls flew all across the living room. Eva then starting picking up handfull of balls and just throwing them all over the house! It was chaos (especially when Eva starting shoving them into bodily orrifices). Now I am on alert to make an inner bag because at lease if it splits open again the balls will be contained!!
Argh, lazy sewing huh!!

Oh my the bean bag story - too funny. I think you may be finding these suckers for days.
I am a non-lime light kinda person too, but I really love your Wed wearing so please keep going.
Funny!
Sophie, this post made me cry, then laugh - and it's only 6am. What a way to start the day!
That bean bag story is hilarious, probably not to you at the time.
I know what you mean about wwW, it feels weird for me too, but I figure it's good for me to break the comfort zone, it would be easier if I could get my camera timer to work though. Perhaps pictures of just part of me are really better anyway ;) Hope I get a chance to play today - when I get dressed that is.
Wow, that's a mess, but it looks like a lot of fun!
That picture is just too awesome - after getting past the frustration of it all, I probably would have laughed for hours. How long did it take to clean everything up? Love the pink and grey combo you are wearing today!
How is your father-in-law? I hope he came through ok!!
I love your pants - just had to say that! And that bean bag mess...when we were little (sibs and I) we did a similar thing, jumped onto the bag and the beans were everywhere...my mum was picking up those little things for months in the hoover!
It's so nice to discover your blog (through Lottielulu) and I do hope your FIL is bouncing off the walls very soon. We have had bean bag dramas too, not from making them but just trying to empty them in the bath tub to wash the bag! what fun, found them in the bathroom for weeks!!!
That bean bag story!!! Are you sure that wasn't at my house?? Too funny, although I'm sure you weren't laughing while scooping up the millions of tiny beads!
Love the pink and grey... so pretty together.
1. Glad to hear your Father In Law is doing well - scary stuff.
2. Love the look of all your threads lined up in your creative space.
3. Very funny that you got all giggly!!
4. Sussans pants are the best.
Oh No!!! Thats happened to me, with a cheap beanbag. We were still picking up bits of foamy beads months later...........those little suckers get everywhere!! I feel for you!
P.S. Is that a Pittwater High Uniform i see on one of your girls?! You must be Northern Beaches Locals!!!! ME TOO!
