kitchen poetry day 7 (really day 8)

A simple and satisfying lunch. We adore vegemite in this house, contrary to popular belief not every Australian likes vegemite, only the really sophisticated and cultured ones!

I am kinda sad Kitchen Poetry is over. I really rushed alot of my pictures because I was so preoccupied with sewing, it was really an after thought for me. I am beginning to enjoy photography, although I have no idea how to use a camera yet. I will be scouring my favourite blogs for some more photography opportunities.

Eva was hooked up to to a Holter monitor this morning. It is a neccessary precaution for anyone with a heart condition. Basically it records Eva's heart beats for a 24 hour period just to check for any abnormalities (extra beats etc). Unfortunately they had no paediatric monitors so she has a huge iPod looking device hanging off her neck, can't be comfortable at all for her. All I could think when I was watching it go on was what a great business opportunity, making a pouch to fit a child, possibly a backpack style so it's not hanging off her and getting in the way...hmm...as if I don't have enough projects in my head and in reality...worth storing away though...

Vegemite is by far the most awful and sickening of all substances. I reckon if you leave the lid off, it will grow inedible mushrooms.
