Ok, I know this is a kinda childish photo, but I was at my high school reunion and acting like a teenager was just expected I think!! I had SO much fun even though I was so nervous. I hadn't seen anyone in 17 years and it was just a surreal experience. A lot of the boys (ahem, men I mean) I didn't even speak to in high school for whatever reason turned out to be the ones I had long and interesting chats with. Everyone was happy and relaxed, there was no angst or hang ups, just a lovely happy evening that ended way too quickly I think.
Sunday afternoon called for a quick trip to our local beach. Sunday was hot and we had all been busy unfortunately the beach was so windy and the wind turned suddenly quite cold. Eva was none too happy about being at the beach, she cried and cuddled and made me all wet and sandy.

Lucia was happy up on the sand with me. She wrapped herself in a towel and then started piling sand into her lap. It was making me feel scratchy and uncomfotable watching her do that. How can kids just slather themselves in sand, it's so gross!

Andrew and Siena, the brave ones, went for a swim. They looked so beautiful and full of life jumping and diving in and out of the waves.

I think I have to be with Eva here, that beach doesn't look too welcolming to me.
Makes me jealous! I wish I had a beach I could run on and jump into the waves! Mind you, the pictures do look kinda windy and chilly. What was the temp?
That's a great picture of you and your hubby! And the beach looks amazing... you're so lucky! My dream is to live near the ocean some day.
