I have my niece's birthday party on Saturday and had already bought a sweet little felted waldorf baby from
here but I kinda wanted a little pouchy, snuggly sack to put her in so Ellie could carry her either around her neck or in a little bag. I also wanted the bag to be of earthy colours since the waldorf baby is a pea and Ellie is having a garden party. This is what I came up with:

Sorry about the shite quality of the picture, still using my phone for pics, how sad :-(

I think she looks mighty happy in her new bed. I am sure Ellie will love her, I am not sure if she will love the fabric I chose since it's remarkably not pink or girly, but we'll see. It was a really easy little project I just plucked form my head and it all went reather smoothly except for the buttonholes. My machine is a bit of a fuddy duddy and she occasionally needs a tea break if I have been sewing for too long. She just would NOT let me finish the last button hole, kept screwing it up. So after a 15 minute break or so I came back and she finally let me complete the last hole. Honestly she really is an old woman!!

Hi Sophie! Just noticed your comment on my card challenge blog! Thanks for stopping by :) I am fairly new to all of this too, so was surprised there were even such things as blog awards! My personal blog is http://her-name-is-carmen.blogspot.com Cute little bag for the Waldorf baby. What exactly is a waldorf baby? Could you explain? :)
Beautiful bag my love. Any chance I can put in that request for a new laptop bag now ... ?
