just stuff

I have been doing alot of sewing lately but it is more of the same, and I don't think you need to see more cord pants with cute pockets do you?

On the way to the car this morning Lucia found this stunning flower that had dropped from the tree:

After a brief trip to Lincraft where we picked up a 'colour by numbers' kit for her she created this masterpiece:


I didn't think she needed the numbers either. (This is a giraffe in the savannah...)

Finally I got a text message from a girlfriend I met when our kids were in intensive care. We were sharing a room and we were on the same milk expressing timetable! Her name is Livia and her son is Mateo. He has a heart condition but more seriously needed a windpipe recontruction. He was in PICU for 9 months (we were in for 2). She is a gorgeous friend and I am lucky to have her in my life.


Mateo is doing really well. She is such a great mum and I really think that is why Mateo continues to thrive. She is relaxed, calm and most importantly is totally in touch with her intuition. She makes such realistic and common sense decisions. She basically is dealing with Mateo on her own without much intervention , Eva on the other hand in monitored completely, and I don't make too many decisions about her without running it past someone from the hospital. I think Livia could teach me a thing or 2!
