feeling the love

My daughter Siena is a voracious reader, she has an unprecedented array of books, mainly fiction but some non fiction. Her grandmother is a a children's book illustrator and author who works in a book store (she gets wicked discounts) and is also given numerous books to review which often get passed on to Siena. We are a family of readers, but the difference between Siena and the rest of us is that Siena buys books for herself whereas everyone else borrows from the library. After I finished reading Twilight I asked Siena if I could borrow New Moon so I could continue the saga. "Of course" she said. The next day I found this little note on my dressing table:

She is so cute I could just eat her up!!

She is so cute but she is so creative and she does so much without being prompted or guided by anyone. She is a typical airey artist type. Too awesome. She will go on to do great things, that kid.
