coming out of the dark

Ok, so that title is a little exaggerated but man, the last week has been tough. I cannot believe all the kids were sick at once, all with different symptoms and all with super decibel maniacal craze inducing whinging. Lordy.

Health update status.
Lucia:
Finally eating solid food. Andrew took her to hospital on Monday night because during the day she had hardly drunk anything and had only wee'd once. She was diagnosed with having a severe case of cold sores! Apparently when children get them for the first time they can become systemically unwell with fever, chills and lethargy. I am so shocked that cold sores could cause such symptoms. Because it's a virus there is no treatment. She is so much better today, has energy and is happier. I am hoping she can get to kindy tomorrow or Friday.

Lucia made me this gorgeous butterfly with some of my fabric stuff. It is such a relief to see her getting back to normal. I was actually pretty scared when she was too sick to get off the couch.

Eva:
Had her flu and chicken pox vaccination today :-( Poor Evie!
She is gorgeous, happy and well!

Siena:
Still suffering weird abdominal pain. She needs to have further examinations. I'll keep you posted.

Sewing machine:
Clanky noises coming from bobbin area. Taken in for a service :-(. I'll keep you posted.
